Hip-Hop superstar Lil Wayne has earned an impressive 8 Grammy Award Nominations, including Best Rap Album for tha Carter lll.
Rock band Coldplay is close behind with seven nominations, and Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West each garnered nix nods.

The 51st Annual Awards will be broadcasted on CBS this coming Frebruary 8 from the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles next door to the Nokia Theater.
